How to use GNS3's Palo Alto Firewall

 

Download the Palo Alto KVM Firewall initially from the support portal. KVM is short for Kernel-Based Virtualization Machine. You can directly run the .qcow file format on KVM. To install the gns3 Palo alto on GNS3, you must do the following:

Deploying the Palo Alto VM Image in GNS3 is step three.

Instal the Palo Alto KVM Image in GNS3. Although the KVM deployment is the same on all GNS3 versions, use GNS3 2.1.21. Launch GNS3 & click on New under Edit > Preferences > QEMU > Qemu VMs. Give this VM a nice name by giving it the name Palo Alto VM, and then click Next.

Give the Palo Alto VM Firewall the RAM now. The VM Image 4 GB of RAM is there and click Next.
